Two different approaches
iiko covers the whole restaurant market: its site offers solutions for restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, fast food, bars, canteens, delivery and chains. Features come in modules and levels, and you buy through a request form, after which a manager calls you. For small venues iiko currently offers 14 days free. The site also lets you search for support partners by city.
Ordo does one job: running a coffee shop at the counter. A Windows or Linux app sits on a computer in your café, keeps the data there and sells offline. Tablets and phones join over the café Wi-Fi and open the till or the kitchen screen in a browser. Everything is already included, with no modules to configure.
Price and what you get
On iiko’s site the coffee shop or bakery solution is 2,500 RUB a month, cafés are 5,000 RUB, restaurants, fast food and bars start at 8,600 RUB, and chains at 10,600 RUB. The coffee shop plan is built from three levels: Base, Mini and Opti. The kitchen screen and a Windows till arrive at the Mini level; on Base, orders print to a kitchen printer and the till is a mobile one on iOS or Android. Some apps, such as iikoWaiter and iikoDashboard, are extra, from 800 RUB a month each.
Ordo costs 1990 KGS a month for one café, about 23 USD. That covers:
- the till on as many devices as you like;
- the kitchen and bar screen;
- recipe-based stock and a shopping list;
- reports, shifts and closing the day;
- Telegram alerts;
- updates and support.
Where iiko is stronger
iiko is a powerful system, and in several cases it is the better choice:
- You run a chain or a franchise: iiko offers central control of finance, stock and staff, franchise network management and central production.
- Delivery is a big part of your business: a delivery website, aggregator orders, a call centre, a courier app and logistics maps. Ordo can ring up a delivery order and print a courier slip, but it has none of these tools.
- You trade in Russia and need electronic document exchange with suppliers, product marking and EGAIS alcohol reporting, which iiko mentions for some plans.
- You want purchasing based on a sales forecast, a report builder, staff scheduling with attendance tracking, and, on the coffee shop plan, a mobile till on iOS or Android.
- You value a network of partners who install and service the system on site.
Where Ordo is simpler for a coffee shop
With one café, what matters most is a till that works from day one without an implementation project. Ordo has big buttons, drink photos, milk and syrup choices, cash, card and split payment. Each order appears on the bar screen right away, and the barista moves it from waiting to ready with one tap.
- Recipe-based stock: every cappuccino deducts its beans and milk, Ordo shows what is running low and prints a shopping list.
- Revenue, best sellers and average ticket, plus a shift close that shows the cash in the drawer.
- Separate logins for owner, manager and barista; discounts over the limit and refunds need the owner’s PIN.
- Guests found by phone number, with cashback and order history.
- Standard 58 mm and 80 mm USB receipt printers, a cash drawer and any card terminal.
- 24 interface languages and support by WhatsApp, Telegram and email.
Offline work and fiscal receipts
Ordo’s Windows app keeps the data on the café’s computer and carries on selling without internet: orders reach the kitchen screen, receipts print and the shift closes. The online version of Ordo in the browser does need internet. We did not find a description of offline work on the iiko pages we read, so ask their manager about it.
Ordo prints regular customer receipts, not fiscal ones. In Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries where fiscal receipts are required, Ordo runs alongside your fiscal cash register and does not replace it.

FAQ
Is Ordo cheaper than iiko?
Ordo costs 1990 KGS a month for one café, about 23 USD, and includes the kitchen screen, stock and any number of devices. On iiko’s site the coffee shop solution is listed at 2,500 RUB a month, with the kitchen screen from the Mini level. Compare with iiko’s current terms for your country.
Can Ordo replace iiko across several venues?
Probably not. Ordo is built for a single coffee shop: one subscription covers one café. If you need central control of a chain, a franchise and production, iiko has more tools for that.
Do I still need a fiscal cash register with Ordo?
Yes, if the law in your country requires one. Ordo prints regular customer receipts, so keep issuing fiscal receipts on your fiscal cash register.
Can I move my menu and recipes from iiko?
Yes. Send us an export from iiko and we will help you bring over your menu, recipes and sales history. Ordo has already been tested on a working café, with more than 12,000 real orders moved in.
How quickly can we start?
Online sign-up is not open yet, so leave a request on the contact page or message us on WhatsApp or Telegram. After that it is simple: add your menu in the evening and serve your first guest in the morning.
